Great news that Chirton Primary School is saved from closure and continues with 19 pupils. Then who arrives: OFSTED! The Inspection recognises the excellent work going on at Chirton and judges it as Good with Outstanding features. Well done to Sue Chivers and the whole team!
Now moving forward to consider the possibility of a hard Federation with one of the neighbouring schools. The aim remains to: have a sustainable village school, with high outcomes for children, and a significant measure of local control.
