September held a key date of personal pleasure for me.
On the 9th September my daughter, Sally, and her husband Dan, had their first child - a girl, Freya. My sixth grandchild came in to the world with a cute nose and bringing great happiness to the family. Val, Sally's Mum, would be overjoyed with both our girls now having their own families.

- Headteacher of Goddard Park Community Primary School, Swindon. Mike was National President of the NAHT in 2010-2011. He is married to Veronicah. His wife of 28 years, Val, sadly died in 2002. Mike has seven children, Sarah, Marcus, Zoe, Sally, James, Lily and George, together with eight grandchildren, Miles, Ted, Emelia, Freya, Samuel, Hope, Daisy and Scarlett. His sister, Carol has two children, Selina and Daniel.
